- I am in my final year of BA(HON) Embroidery at Manchester Art School. In my current practice I am investigating the connection between embroidery and surgery. The surgery I am exsploring is the work of Harold Gillies at St Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, during the First World War. Gillies specialised on Faceial reconstructive surgery on injured service men.
